China News Service, Beijing, November 8 (Reporter Sun Zifa) The press conference of the 2023 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievements Fair (the Fair) was held at the National Science and Technology Communication Center in Beijing on November 8. The organizing committee announced that the 2023 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair will be held in Guangzhou from November 17th to 19th. The CIEF has been successfully held for 8 times before, with a total of more than 16,000 exhibition results, more than 32,000 projects released, and a conversion amount of more than 60 billion yuan (RMB, the same below).
With the theme of "Empowering New Tracks and Promoting New Development", the 2023 China Innovation Fair will promote the deep integration of the "four chains" of innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain through the gathering of scientists, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and provide support for achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and building a strong scientific and technological country.
The 2023 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair will set up a main forum and multiple sub-forums. The main forum focuses on hot topics such as in-depth cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and optimizing the allocation of factors. The sub-forums focus on important areas such as the development of emerging industries, high-quality development of the "Belt and Road Initiative", and international scientific cooperation. In addition, the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair will further tap outstanding project resources and promote the transformation and implementation of more, larger-scale, and higher-tech achievements by using competitions as a proxy for evaluation and competitions to promote investment.

According to the organizing committee, on the basis of inheriting the successful experience and style of previous innovation fairs, the 2023 China Innovation Fair will highlight specialization, marketization, internationalization and science popularization.
Highlight the marketization aspect and make greater efforts to promote the transformation of results. The number of achievement transformation bases of China Innovation Fair 2023 has been expanded to 96. Since the beginning of this year, the CIEF has held 91 achievement transformation activities in various bases, promoting project transformation and implementation amount exceeding 7 billion yuan, and the annual implementation amount is expected to be no less than 15 billion yuan.
Highlighting the aspect of internationalization, the 2023 China Innovation Fair will focus on improving the level of internationalization and promoting international scientific and cultural exchanges. This year's CIEF will launch a partnership program to closely cooperate with relevant institutions at home and abroad to expand the CIEF's "circle of friends" and global resource network. The first batch of partners include the British Global Technology Innovation Partnership Alliance, European China Entrepreneurs Association and Gobi Ventures Greater Bay Area.
